When I am having a blue day I try and get away from the environment I am in and put on some music. Music is a real mood changer for me. If I can’t have access to music I will try self talk. That is when I remind myself of the good things that are happening and try and get the negatives things into perspective. I will say things to myself like “What is really important here?” “How much energy do I want to waste on feeling this way?”
