Hello everyone!

What a great way to summarise holiday experiences, Mrs Placek! Here’s my 3, 2, 1:

My family, friends and pets
Walking my dog Millie, gardening at home
Working with 5/6s!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful break. See you back at school next week!

Miss Crowther 🙂

On the holidays I spent lots of time with family and friends. I went to Bali for eleven days and learnt that Bali has a wet season….Three days of solid rain and several where it rained for an hour or so. I had New Years Eve in Bali and spent the night on the beach dodging fireworks that people were setting off everywhere. It was an experience. I took a ride on a motorbike while I was there and learnt that there are no road rules!
I am looking forward to catching up with all of you and finding out about your adventures.
Mrs Laffan

I have spent time with my Mum, my friend Nat and godson Avery
I have seen three different movies and cleaned out every cupboard in my house
In 2014 I am looking forward to teaching grade 3/4. I have never had a grade 4 class before

Hello everyone,

Let’s see if I get your 3, 2, 1 method.

My family, a friend, my children’s dogs
read a book, went shopping
Looking forward to our year of working together.

I hope everyone is excited to start working in your new space. We have today off for a holiday and then 2 workdays so the kids have a few days off. When they return we will start our fourth six weeks of the year and be 1/2 through our year.
We have several projects we will work on. Watch our blog site for updates on these.
What do you look forward to the most as your start a new school year and what do you want to accomplish this year?

Hello Mrs Placek,

I like how you found a new way of summarising the past. Maybe in writing one week we could learn about 3, 2, 1 methods and we could write them too. That would be fun! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Hi Chelsea

It does look like a poem doesn’t it? I thought that when I first saw it too.

A new addition to the family…how exciting! I am looking forward to hearing all about Jessie. (And the shopping, of course! :-))

See you on Thursday!

Mrs Placek

Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a good holiday.

Here is my 1.2.3:

I went to the cinemas and saw the movie Frozen.

Me and my family went camping down at the Great Ocean Road.

And last of all my friend came over for a sleep over.

Ok I better go. See you soon.

Seth is out.

Hi Seth,

I heard that the movie Frozen is very good. What did you think of it?

Did you go to the beach when you went down The Great Ocean Road? We certainly had beach weather!

See you at school tomorrow!

Miss Crowther 🙂
